| Convergence Purity Magnets (CPM) are ring
magnets mounted on the color ray tube (CRT) neck, near the socket end. These rings are
used for part of the purity adjustment and static convergence. CPMs are made out of
Noryl material using injection molding machines for body molding. The magnet rings are
made of Ferrite powder and then magnetized to the required norms.
